haha, those prices are making me cringe. I'm still a student, but here's the butcher's bill: front fascia is ruined. small bits of the front hood is ruined. left side of the car is ruined.

i don't mind paying for the service (it's my damn mistake), but i'd love to learn the trade from you, if possible. it's my first car, and i'm learning as i go.

Is that all the damage? Just the front bumper, that part of the hood, and the gills/door area?

That's what I like to hear. Learn it yourself and profit. There are tons of resources here. Let me know if I can help.

I'd have to see it in person to be sure but if its just mostly those areas I could definitely make something happen in the $150-200 range. That would be just for the damaged areas, removing all those white spots will be slightly more. You will leave with a basic detail lesson and a shopping list for things you need ASAP.

That is why I love coming on here. Seeing members help each other out is great either by hands on or just posting solutions.
While I'm thinking can I get opinions on Adams new 2 step paint correction deal?

Don't forget about Phil @ Detailers Domain if you're in the tri-state area.

If you're going the DIY route Camarodreams07 and others here will not steer you wrong and if you take your time, you'll learn a skill for life.

Good luck getting it fixed. Hopefully they can be polished out. Those pics made me cringe.

OP, you have a solid detailing forum here.
Would've been nice if you had inquired about those white spots prior to dealing with them on your own.

I'd assume most people would've asked you to give it a go with a clay bar.

But yea, if your gonna go the 2 stage polish route, you might as well go with a nice ceramic coating while your at it.

Opti-Coat or C-quartz..lock that color back in!
All the best and let us know how it goes..
