Face lift, Plasti Dip style

So I got tired of the faded stripes so I removed them and started taping things off for some Plasti Dip action. It turned out good but it seams to be missing something in the front and back. The pics look weird because its still wet so dont bash on me too bad, and I ditched the spears because I couldnt get the tape to pull off clean after I was done spraying. What else should I do while I have the guns out and the fridge stocked up?

Maybe on the flats under the chrome but its almost impossible to create a clean tape line with this stuff. It dries so fast that once you remove the tape it brings the Plasti Dip with it. Unless someone has a trick that I have not thought about.

Agreed....the spoiler not being black messes up the flow from the hood to the trunk.

Looks good otherwise.

The wheels are the easiest piece to do. Just cram a plastic bag in over the rotors, do it neatly so it's not touching the edges of the rim, tape off the air valve and go at it. You don't tape off the tires...just go heavy on the edges and it peels off in one piece. The more you get on the fire the easier it comes off. I just posted some pics of mine that I did this weekend.

All opinion but I disagree. I like the contrast.

Well the spoiler and wheels will have to wait, going to black out the front Bowtie and drop the car off to get 30% tint.

That's the issue I had when I shot my lower front bumper. I was thinking about maybe letting it dry all the way before pulling the tape off and running a razor blade over the tape edges but VERY lightly so I don't get into the clear coat underneath. Anybody try this?
