Nope--I used a dealer in San Diego. The Orange County dealers were all popping sticker and would not do courtesy deliveries.

There are three major train routes to the West Coast. I think yours would probably go via the Northern route on BNSF.

So how long after the dealership received the car did they call you to allow pick up? My car just finished being built yesterday.

Just kept calling in and getting the automated position of the train--it's pretty cool!

FYI for those of us in Canada, you can also get your train status / location through a much easier-to-navigate Canadian Pacific line. You can do it all through the phone keypad with fewer strokes and no need to say anything aloud, and can even program it in as a speed dial (yes, I was OCD about checking progress)

1-888-999-8111 (1) (1) [rail car number without letters] ##

E.g. for my freshly delivered C7, I used 1-888-999-8111 (1) (1) 904440 ##

CP does also cover part of the USA, looping down from Detroit through Chicago and on to Portal, ND - if you're on this route this number may work for you.
