Newbie from Georgia in need of a welcome and some advice
Hi guys, I’m a newbie from around Covington, GA. I’m 18 and bought myself a silver 2015 2LS back in December. The deal on it was great and it only has 37,000 miles. She’s so fun to drive and I’ll sometimes just stare out to the driveway thinking,”Wow what a sexy car... and it’s mine”.
If this is not the place to ask, please let me know if I need to post elsewhere, but I have a few questions. Anyone’s input would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that I am trying to modify my car without spending too much. -If I am getting a gloss black roof wrap, should my hood spears and rocker panel spears that I am getting be gloss as well? -What would you guys think about me getting EZ Flares for my car? -Should I get gill decals and a trunk blackout decal as well? -Should I use some matching silver touchup paint that I have to paint the emblems or use something like a silver carbon fiber wrap? -What would you guys think about using a black universal adhesive spoiler or an EZ Lip Pro on the trunk as a spoiler since I’m trying to keep the cost low? Anyways, feel free to ask me questions about myself or offer some helpful tips I should know. I look forward to conversing with you all from now on. By the way, here’s a picture of it.

First and foremost "welcome" to the toyshop! I am sure you will have members chiming in with their ideas.
I have a 2014 convertible, the only change the body has seen is some blue pin striping to break up all the ashen gray. I was never one for adding decals, wraps or stripes, unless they were painted on. I have read about so many member having theirs fade over time. But again, each to their own. Besides your 18 and you need to do what you think is best for you not someone else. I must say I am envious of you.... being 18 years old and owning a 2015 Camaro! WOW! At 18 I resurrected a 1961 Chevrolet that I traded my 56 Rambler for. The Rambler was my very first car, I traded my hunting rifle for that car. It was pewter gray, paint was as flat as a dog turd. Anyways, at 18 after getting the 61 Chevy Impala to where it looked presentable (rattle can paint job) I traded that in for an M14 and a free ride to South East Asia! Since those days I have owned some wonderful cars but like you I must say I also look out the window and look at my Gen5 Camaro and say to myself, "she's mine". Driving it is such a pleasure. Please show your car the respect it requires and deserves. Be careful out there as there are a ton of nuts running loose. Larry

Welcome,
Don't do ez flares..if you want a wide body look do it professionally. Ez flares will cheapen it, imo.

Thanks for the welcome and input, guys. I think I’m probably going to keep the mods down to just the hood spears, rocker panel spears, and a bluetooth aux adapter for now. I might modify the car more once I’m able to start up my business.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
