I saw two haulers full of Vettes head eastbound on I40 through Tennessee this morning, there's going to be some happy Vette owns tomorrow or in a few days! I was heading west to the Camaro Fest in Bowling Green!

Becky,
Hope you had a safe and enjoyable trip. So I created an album of a couple of pics for you showing the problem that occurred. Turns out that it wasn't as bad as everyone thought. The issue is on the spoiler and not the deck lid as was original reported, so a new spoiler was ordered on Wednesday. The dealer expects it to be in their shop sometime Thursday and they feel they can do the repairs and be able to deliver the car on Friday or Saturday. Becky and I were able to go see the car and it is absolutely gorgeous. We can't stand the wait but it is comforting to know her Vette is only a couple of miles away now. This has certainly been an experience with a lot of ups and downs but after seeing the car with our owns eyes, it's totally worth it! Check it out and I'll keep you up to date as we learn of any progress. Thanks for all your help and support along our journey. - Mark |
