Track wheels 19's?

Hello all.

I'm a newbie to 6th gen, but a very experienced track day participant with the 5th gen. I'm looking for a dedicated wheel setup for the track. The GY SC 3R's are my preferred tire, but I don't want to stick with 20 inch wheels due to cost.

After reading through the threads, some are recommending a 19 inch square setup.

What wheels? What size tires?

Thoughts please. Thank you!

19x11 or 19x10.5 square and 305/30/19 3rs. Oddly enough, that size is selling for a really good price around $340-370 on Amazon and Walmart

Or you can run 18’s which are a little smaller but opens up more tire options.

If you want to use SC3R's go with 19's, if you want to use scrub Slicks go with 18's.

Close except ZLE is staggered with wider rears. If you want extended tire life, go square. If money is no object, staggered keeps the car happy traction control wise.

Money is an object, lol.

I'm looking for some Square sizes that have been tried if anyone has some wheel/tire combo they like, I'd appreciate it.

Some good recommendations on the apex website, scroll down here:

https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

Funny enough they don't list any 19x11 sizes, not sure why.
