I'm gonna wait for more pictures and to see it in person. But honestly. I'm not really digging it. The hood scoop looks very cheap and poorly done.

It's a convertible that's brand new and probably costs more than twice the Camaro does too.

But just love how people claim anyone involved is an "idiot". They are people that made decisions based on way more input than what you or I have. That doesn't make them idiots. Sorry, it's just not true. Know most of them by name and have socialized with some of them for years. NOT idiots.
I agree that it's not fair to criticize everyone involved. I think some had hinted that they weren't crazy about the new design ahead of the release but it is a large group of people that decide what the final result is. Hopefully the Camaro faithful at gm were too busy working on the gen 6 to waste their time on the refresh. I also hope they didn't mess up the ZL1.

I think it's ok but with right cosmetic mods like front grill blackout it will look much meaner
I also think standard halogen lights would probably look better with this design. I think the headlights look to smushed. An eagle eye design in there would look great

If you think this change would be universally loved like the current car...........................oh wait, yeah that's right it isn't either. Everyone is acting like the 2011 - 2013 are so awesome that any change is like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa. Sorry it isn't, at least not for everyone. Keep in mind ladies and gentlemen there was a day when the F-car sold so well it needed 2 yes 2 assembly plants. Today it's meager 100,000 units. That isn't really much, just good enough to lead the category.
Please do not spin my comment. Paraphrasing: You stated that there were GM marketing types laughing at everyone here because this whole Live with Kelly and Micheal is some kind of clever distraction.

Not only do I think that is absurd and arrogant but I doubt that John would comp 50 enthusiasts to be GM's guests for the big reveal only to do some "clever" distraction a day before. Today was either a last minute opportunity or a mistake.

Ps the hood vent looks completely out of place. Way too small

I had to go to the garage and check my car. You are correct. For some reason I thought it only opened a little bit under the spoiler and not all the way down to the bumper but I was wrong. So much for getting in golf clubs.

I think the 2014 Camaro is hot as hell. It's a great update to a great car.

This 2014 reminds me of the "New Coke" for those of you old enough to remember. It's hard to mess with something that's not broke! I'm pretty happy with my "Classic Coke" 2012 ZL1.
