Try 4k. Youll need to slip the clutch you might smell burnt clutch a little but ive beaten the Hell out of mine and still going strong. If your not tuned your just wasting time because the bog will only get worse now that you have some good tires.

Shane Hinds did the tuning.

Do you guys burn clutch when launching or what?
i might just have to launch it higher.. but i don't usually smell the clutch unless i release too slow. the bog is a killer.

Does the control arm and upper trailing arm help much or is the lower trailing and the cradle kit is best two options? How important are the other two?

With the mods in my signature, I launch at around 6-6.5k, slipping the clutch out of the hole on 28 x 10 (17") Hoosier slicks and have zero bog. That's what I've found to be the key to eliminate bogging; slicks, high revs, and slip the clutch. For those that criticize others for drag racing a 1LE, ignore them. This is a powerful NA V8 with a bulletproof TR6060 and the ZL1's 9.9" rear end, why wouldn't you drag race it? Yes, I get that the "purpose" for this car is mainly for road course work and that the suspension lends itself more to that than drag racing, but it's plenty capable for both applications.

Slipping the clutch is the key.
If you let it out too fast the car bogs like a SOB.

What times you running and what are you trapping? Just curious.

My local track is a 1,000 foot. Typically, it'll cut a mid-high 1.5x 60 foot, high 6s in the 1/8th at around 102 mph and bottom 9s in the 1,000 foot (9.0-9.3 on average). Unfortunately, the mph timer at the 1,000 foot mark never works, so I still don't know what I trap in the 1,000 foot, sorry. Still trying to crack into the 8s. I'm planning to run E85-R the next time I'm out in hopes that it'll nudge me in the 8s.

That's great, shame it doesn't measure your trap speed.
