TEASER...Working production model installed

Took the car up to 55mph ish (for legal purposes, actual speed will not be disclosed). Row through all 6 gears up and down. The paddles work GREAT. No need to hunt for the button anymore. Engineering will be making some very minor tweaks but it shouldn't delay production.

Upshifted and downshifted EVERY TIME I asked it to. It'll be fun to see if I can get some time in the "twisties" with this.

Two screws to remove, two screws to install, and 4 screws to adjust the positioning of the paddles. You don't even need to remove the steering wheel to install this. Telescope and tilt the wheel as far out as you can, rotate the steering wheel so one of the spokes point up, remove one of the screws (Torx 15 I believe, it'll be listed in the instructions). Turn the steering wheel the other way and do the same. Then attach the hardware with supplied spacer and screw onto the same spots vacated by the two screws you removed.

I estimate about 15 minute to 1/2 hour TOPS. 1/2 hour if you like to take pictures and document and have a beer between every screw removed and installed.

The paddles are interchangeable. We will be offering them in different materials, different finishes, and different shapes in the future.

Or you can remove them and have a machine shop shave off the bottom.

Dan:

If you get the opportunity, try the paddles in a BMW...they have a silicone, non-slip padding on the back side of them, and they are just uber comfortable to flick flick flick.

This is a great mod. Keep up the great work.
