Otherwise I was looking at the whopper or ecs kit.
How much is that warranty if you don't mind me asking. I seen those offers but obviously theres no pricing attached. I'm not too concerned with warranty but it may be worth it.

Read the fine print. After I did, I decided the extended warranty wasn't for me. It would cost more to install, tune and would be voided if any other mods were done, like headers and exhaust.

Well... I'll be voided before I get it then!

Exactly. And the warrant also screws you on the mileage. If your car already has 25k miles on it and you got the 36k warranty, guess what? You just bought a warranty that only cover from 25k to 36k miles. Not another 36k miles like you would think.

Yea like blufin stated, the warranty is basically directed towards someone with a all stock car and just wants to drop the supercharger on with the slp canned tune. All I had was high flow cats and a 3 inch catback. Must have under 10,000 miles and cannot add anything except supercharger. So no cai, headers, pulleys, custom tune .

The price was $795 for 3 years $1100 for 5 years.

I had 5k on my car and it added 150hp, no matter what it's a huge jump. The stage 2 kit adds about 60-80rwhp and the stage 3 about 60-80 on top of that. But jumping stages voids warranty, long with few other fine print things, like taking it to the track.

just something to think about.. Night Furyed Camaros with heads intake and meth have been throwing down well over 700-750 with the ECS blowers. ususally to the point they have to put the restrictor plates in to keep the HP down to semi safe engine levels.
some like Jrod here just threw down an 802.. HCI/Meth/ECS and a good tuner.

Ya, I've though about meth but never used the stuff so idk how quickly you have to refill and if there much to maintain it where to buy it etc. Heard someone talk about window washer fluid lol.

I don't really refill mine often then again I'm not flooring it everywhere either lol. Usually with the meth kits it relocates the washer fluid to a new bottle and you use your washer bottle as the meth bottle. Meth is great for safety and IATs

I have the (Maggy style, Jackshaft style, Old style) SLP TVS2300 supercharger on my LS3. I picked mine up about 6 months ago for $5600 shipped to my door. It sounds like the prices may have gotten even better now. At the time it was between this one and the new variant that SLP was offering. Price was not really much different between the two, I just preferred the looks of the jackshaft style more and liked the idea of being able to install the 1:1 Cog drive to give me the whine I wanted to hear and not increase boost. Anyways… I did the install myself and it was pretty easy. I put down 547 to the wheels running the stock pulley. My mods were Roto-fab CAI, Kooks 1 7/8 headers with hi-flow cats, and a custom dyno tune. I think you should be able to achieve close to you goal with pulley change and some supporting mods. One of the guys in our car club has my setup and it running the OD cog pulley with a cam and did 644 rwhp on the same dyno I was tuned on.

Here is a video with the 1:1 cog drive.

I've seen some great pricing for the slp tvs2300 old style which I like the whine ability of the displacement. For some reason centri just does not excite me.

I have a 2012 SS ls3 what would it take to achieve 600-640 ish rwhp? Also getting to this number I don't want to run into driving issues or belt problems. Ive had a turbo setup before but never displacement so they may not be issues. It just feels to me like a tt kit gets you to over 600 without any other mods where I see people with tvs2300's and they already spent money on headers intake and pulley etc still posting some unimpressive numbers.

Any input from you guys would be great. I'm not at this point expecting to ever push past 650 because im not going to build to the point of needing tranny and half the car built for more hp.

Thanks guys
Levi

IPS TT kit or Procharger. You're gonna spend a whole lot to make power with a tvs. If you go TT you don't have to buy headers so therefore you have money to spend elsewhere.

I whines just fine, it won't whine like the old version with a cog drive added tho. There is no option for a cog drive on the new system, its front driven.

The ease of making power on a TT kit is just silly. So much power, so easy. 10-15% less stress on the motor than a supercharger at the same whp. Loooove every minute of driving that car.
