Bring Motorsports Back to Long Island
Interesting note from Nick, the owner of American Racing Headers.
One Friday, Aug 17 2012 I had the distinct honor of meeting with Randy Altschuler who's running for United States Congress representing Suffolk County (http://randy2012.com/) against incumbent Tim Bishop. I'm thrilled to mention that Randy has joined forces with American Racing Headers, Long Island Driveshaft and other groups and individuals to help promote the development of a Motorsports Racing Facility in Suffolk County, NY. Understanding exactly what the multi-billion dollar motorsports industry does for this nations economy and what it means to Suffolk County businesses, Randy has pledged his support and will join our long fought battle to bring motorsports back to Long Island. American Racing Headers and Randy Altschuler are also supportive of "Beat The Heat" (http://www.beattheheatinc.org/). "Beat The Heat" is a national non-profit organization comprised of Police Officers who conduct educational programs using marked emergency vehicle drag cars to gain the interest of the public, especially teens. With over 500 chapters in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, their goals include educating young people in their communities about the dangers of illegal street racing, problems of illegal drug and alcohol use, and the horrors of impaired and distracted driving as well as the importance of a good education. On election day, November 6, 2012 please show your support and vote for Randy Altschuler. Let's give him the horsepower he needs to bring motorsports back to Long Island. Bob |
