Getting 14-15 driving in traffic to work. 23.7 on freeway with cruise, except for occasional blip for mustangs. 2SS M6

Anyone have long distance traveling on interstate mileage figured?? My C7 gets 32 mpg but has a lot less wind resistance, hundreds of pounds less weight and extra overdrive gear in 7th on my manual transmission. Curious to see how much all that influences gas mileage. I have never figured my mileage around town so can't compare there.

I achieved an average of 27.4mpg in a manual SS on a 230-mile highway jaunt through the hilly terrain of eastern New York into Vermont. I wasn't exactly "hyper-miling", either.

Around 15 mpg to work and back with some 55 mph stretches. Around 10 mpg with spirited driving. Gonna need more dump cans when I finally go to the track. 2SS got around 8 mpg on the track and I'm sure this one burns it faster with FI.

Gotta love the LT4. Can buzz the tires at any speed below the posted limit

A8. I've gotten 26 to 28 on the highway a few times.

I hold 22 to 23 mpg on a 30 mile each way, mostly freeway commute.

I find that Mustangs and Challengers need to passed at all times, just because.

Got 30 + - in summer with cruise on 60-65 on trips.
Since cold weather started, and no trips, fell off a cliff to scarcely above 20mpg.
Big difference, but not exactly why I own an SS anyhow.

21 or so in town but not bad traffic and such. Not my DD. Trips to Coronado Island on the I8 net me 23-25 or so. Mountains, cruise set at 84 in AZ 79 in CA. Situation dependent may see blips into triple digits. FWIW the Kia Soul only gets maybe 26 on same drive ...

2018 SS 6-speed.

To and from work round trips of 54 miles I average 25.2 MPG consistently. 32 of the 54 miles is 70 mph hilly interstate, with the balance being 40-45 mph back roads and a few traffic lights near home and work.

Weekends sees it lower due to more stop & go. 19 MPG average on trips of those days.
