On the topic of "fast"....at least it's under 150 mph at the top end, or it would need a parachute as well as the roll-bar.....

I hope for the Demon's sake there will be buyers actually willing to put in a cage and go to NHRA tracks....otherwise this whole quarter mile thing will just be relegated to bench-racing....

Dodge sold their first race Hemis in the '60s to the public under warranty and most of them blew up....They quickly changed their policy and only sold them to known race teams....The street Hemi shortly followed for the public....I hope the Demon doesn't go through the same fate....

Unless they actually get tracked, their reputations will be in the hands of bench racing posers....

Agreed. The Trackhawk is nice. I saw a photoshopped pic of one with the Demon's fender flairs and it looked wicked.

It's a neat car and I'm glad they did it, but Dodge seems to be in terrible financial shape. I hope this isn't what ultimately kills the brand. They've had the same body for like 10 years now, and the Dart was a huge bust. Good thing they have jeep to keep them afloat.
