No. You have a CFT (captured test fleet) vehicle. These are cars put into GM's test fleet to iron out any glitches before actual production cars are sold to the public.

Haha no love for the CTF* group, Ill take a much better price and full GM warranty and not have anything to worry about.(JMO) To much negativity! Ease up everybody and enjoy what ya have!

Not hating on the CFT cars at all.

I wonder if most buyers of them know what they are getting (PRIOR to purchase), and why they didn't just buy a new one at 20% off when they had the chance a few months ago?

Hopefully when anyone buys any car they are aware of what they are getting,(obviously not always the case) but I do get your point! I guess my take on it is a little different as here in Canada we not only had limited production of the Z/28 in over all production by Chev but we had limited cars for sale here in Canada and not exactly the option to pick and choose. (And anyone in Canada to land the 20% off should have bought a lottery ticket as well) so for me to be in the position to buy a CTF Z, and get $10,000 off MSRP was worth it.(purchased before the 20% discount was known)

I know what the CTF cars are meant for, that they are vigorously checked prior to any sale to the public and I purchased mine with the full 7 year warranty. I will always rest easy!

When I bought my z/28 there was another for sale at the same dealer/time and sold 3 days after I bought mine. They sold in less then three weeks of being posted.

A 2015 listed today was number 1221. Highest I have seen so far for production numbers on the 15 model year.

Thanks for the info. The numbers are lower than anticipated. Still too many IMO.

Hopefully, they won't build anymore. There are too many on the market now.
