PDF says X1 is grey.

In the previous post of the double check of the wiring im going by circuit numbers.
im not going to buy another connector to mate into the short recorder harness, but im going to plumb it so to speak. looks like most if not all of the grey connector goes to the radio. I cannot find where wire #5842 goes yet.

5842 seems to be ground A11 X1 does not seem to have a ground on it, I also can not find any reference to 5842 in the service manual.

I revised my chart on page 7 again, please let me know if I have anything out of order from your own cross check so we can have two sets of eyes on it, Thanks for checking the work I posted as well it's nice to have a 2nd pair of eyes on it.

I think K161 X1 Pin 12 - BU/VT - Audio Request Signal should be Circuit #4609 and goes to A11 X1 P17

K161 X2 Pin 12 - BK/WH - Signal Ground - Circuit #1551 - should go to ground

It also seems that a discrepancy might exist for X20 SD Card Reader in the PDR PDF it states that X2-4 is ground and X2-6 is battery + HOWEVER here is the discrepancy in X20 MEMORY CARD RECEPTACLE X2 (UQT) it states X2-4 is Secure Digital Card Reader Low Reference and X2-6 is Secure Digital Card Reader Controlled Control to top this all off X202 references Secure Digital Card Reader Low Reference and Secure Digital Card Reader Controlled Control however pins 6 and 7 that it states would be those connections are plugged with no wire, so the assumption here is that power and ground is accurate for X20 X2 - nighttowl any thoughts on that?

This states it's for option i05 so not sure if this is the same with i06 however #5842 is referenced on the document K31 NAVIGATION CONTROL MODULE X2 at PIN location #6

Thanks, I just ordered two of them. How did you cross reference the GM part number to get this part number? It would be nice to be able to do that with some of the other connectors.

I did cancel my Amazon order for the 90$ plug and will see how this work when it comes in.

For reference.... on the service manual.. look up the service connector or OEM part that is in the pinout for that connector. See if you can find it. Then use the description given as well for a reference. Knowing the manufacturer is part of the help.

For instance the 32 pin connector for the cluster.... 32-Way F 0.64 Micro-Quadlock Series (BK) ... .I searched for the MQS series connector with 32 pins... came right up.

Yes, I helped Nitro find some other connectors. (Greg@Pace)
The terminals for the above connector is SAIT-A03T-M064

I already use that connector & terminals for another project here so when I saw it I new what part number it was.
So add the required number of those also.
