I agree that the chrome bar screams GM product. The lower bumper reflectors are a big European influence thing....the taillamps make me think Impala as well, but with it being a compact, I'm leaning towards more Saturn product. Maybe something below the Aura? It could be the Cobalt replacement or even an Aveo replacement.

Maybe its the new Chevy Lacetti/Nubira (Europe), whose Delta II replacement is supposedly gonna become the next cobalt here.

Its hard to really see cuz of the camo, but the lights and mirrors and basic shape look somewhat similar.

Edit: It is hard to tell from the website. Is this car FWD, RWD, or AWD?

New Theory: You know how GM had a Commodore-bodied mule for the Camaro? What if this is the same type of deal...an Epica-bodied mule for say...a Cobalt, and/or G5 replacement?

Looking at the holden site, it weighs around 3300 lbs. So its a small midsized car. And it has to be fwd because that car has an inline 6, and that won't fit lenghtwise in that car

that is not true, there was a canadian chevrolet that was based on a suzuki that had a transverse front drive inline six. which is what this car has as well. and the canadian car was also called a Epica too.

Daewoo Magnus and other cars that shared the body and mechanicals

Or is it the next G6, looks a little big for replacing the Cobalt G5 and I don't see them replacing the Malibu any time soon.

Well my fiancee was pretty adamant that it was right about the size of my Cobalt, and the trend is for mid-sizers to get bigger and bigger, not smaller. I think we're looking at a mule for the Cobalt/G5 replacement.
