hi guys, i have a non RS Camaro that i am fully converting to RS
headlights, taillights, spoiler etc...

i have been looking at the rs cars and they have a thin chrome strip lining the upper part of the grille...

i know a lot of people don't like this and i was wondering if anyone has removed this and would be willing to sell it??

I've seen a few that have either gotten rid of it or plasti dipped it or something. I would like to know as well.

I don't understand this. Why didn't you just get the RS package to begin with?

you have to change the whole grille to get that chrome piece

If the chrome strip above the grill is removed, then the chrome around the top and outside of the headlights would need removed, and that would leave a void

I think you just need an RS bumper completely for the whole chrome piece. I plastidipped mine.

What prep work did you do to the chrome piece before you plastidipped it?

i got s the "black appearance package" it included a grille that wouldn't match up with the chrome but i had the grille removed.

I'll trade you grills, and chrome strip and i'll even cover my half of the shipping so that you only have to pay for your shipping. I've removed the chrome strip from mine.
