I just got a check engine code on my 1Le. It was 4-5 days after installing the Vitesse throttle controller. It seemed to be working fine and the car seems to run fine.

Is there a way to check what the code is?

Anyone else experience throwing a CEL with this controller?

What did you do?

If you come out to Pavs on Saturday I can pull the code for you. I bought an OBD reader and app for my iPhone that pulls and can reset the CEL. Nice to have once you start modding.

Auto zone, advance or pep boys will read your code for free.
I have been running the Vitesse now for a few weeks and a couple hundred miles and have had no problems.

Ebay to buy a Elm327 OBD. Then depending on your phone download the torque app for android I'm not sure what it is for apple. Then you can read and clear CELs. The torque app will also show all kinds of gauges so you have tons of info about your car at your finger tips.

If The Throttle Controller was the main cause for your CEL, give it some time, after a few restarts and it should go away by itself.

First the new info.
I checked the gas cap that was tight and fine.
When I checked under the hood the dealer installed 1LE clean side catch or whatever you call it was missing the top cap. I've had problems with that before, it just doesn't want to stay on.

It was laying on the manifold and was partially melted. with some filing I got it back on and took car for a drive. CEL did not clear, maybe tomorrow it will clear. Now I'm not sure what threw the CEL.

If It doesn't clear by Saturday I will bring it down to the Pavs to take you up on your offer. I am also part of the Camaro club so I'll see you there. What does your Camaro look like and when will you be there?
I have a black 1LE basically stock looking save for the emblem pro emblems on the hood.

May be down there anyway just for the Camaro week.

I will be down there by about 2 or so and usually stay until about 7 or later. I have a Blue Ray '14 1LE with SLP on the front and rear glass. We have met a few times out there before.

We should be able to pull the history on it. I always have it connected to my car so I will have it with me on Saturday. I have to be there on Saturday so I should be there around 2.
