In town I'm averaging 17mpg and on the highway 24mpg. Any time I see somebody say they got the V6 for fuel economy I just laugh. Long live the l99 Camaro!

I drive the highway for work everyday. I go an even 65 daily for 30 miles each way. I bought mine in May of this year and I am getting about 28 mpg. I bought the V-6 just for this reason since gas is so high. Otherwise I would have gotten a V-8.
I have an 84 corvette that still get's 26 mpg on the highway. If you drive them right and take good care of them you will do ok. Kevin |
