ever since I was a little boy of 7-11 (the age I was when the show was on the air ). I always wanted this car:
I have had toys, model kits (no pun intended ) and other scale replicas of it. I have been researching companies that sell the parts to convert a 82-92 firebird or trans am t-top into KITT. But my replica will have more balls under the hood. I plan on swapping out the factory supplied 305 engine with a LS1 from a 97-04 vette or a 98-02 camaro/ trans am .

There's somebody that sells full working KITT replicas for about 45k. All the screens and buttons work and do something. I'm not sure about the engine though. I think you can get it upgraded. Now if I can only remember the site...

Your ultimate car?
Whats the one car you absolutely MUST have before you die?
For me its either an Aston Martin DB9, or an SLR McLaren. |

Lotus 340R makes a fun toy.
The ultimate car if I had to choose one is the 355 Berlinetta. Hands down. F1 sounds, great handling, decently fast. MMMMM small cylinders firing at high RPMS. Can't wait to hit the Champ car grand prix in San Jose on the 29th |

Name one car you'd like to own one day
I'm talking about the kind of car you've always wanted (can't be a Camaro, unless that's all your heart truly desires).
For me, I've always wanted a Porsche since I was a kid, a 911 to be more specific, don't care which model. There's nothing else like a 911, an icon in its own right. It's a car you can keep for a really long time and not worry too much about depreciation (these things are instant classics after 10 years). Only downside is upkeep, but there are far worse cars in this regard you could end up with (like a Benz). If not a 911 a Cayman would suffice, or maybe even a Vette (another long time favorite, and Grandpa had a C3), but they've got to do something about that interior (too tight and not as nice as a lot of the competition). |

Is this dream car or something more realistic? My dream car would be to have a 1967 Corvette. Of the new cars on sale right now, Dodge Charger SRT8. But I probably won't own either of them.

1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, completely done up.
That, or a latter-gen Fiero. Loved those things |

If this is dream car territory...I really want a Bugatti Veyron. That or a ZR-1. Both the Veyron, and the ZR-1 rate equally as high for me.
