There was a Z22 Cavalier, was like a jonesbag trimmed down spoilered 2 door Cavalier. Z is a fast letter like Yellow is a fast color. "It's Z rated fast GSpot Yo!"

"Z" has been the alpha prefix for MANY Chev-GM "packages" over the years, with Z10 being the '69 Camaro Pace Coupe Package, and Z11 being the same in Convertible form. Z11 was also the "mystery engine/lightweight body" Package for the '63 Impala. Z16 was the original '65 Chevelle SS396...and on and on...

I believe you'll find the Z22 Cavalier was created by Gananoque Chev Olds and TrimLine of South Eastern Ontario, and then taken in-house by GM...

I saw the z26 today

I trhink i saw this car in Sj today. Orange with black stripes. Had RS badges and below the Camaro on the fenders it has 2010 Indy 500 decals. In the rear it has a 3.6 on the bumper and z26 runs across the rear.
