Coming From the Subaru World..

Hey guys,
Last Sunday, I drove home in a 2018 Hyper Blue Metallic 2SS, at last closing the loop and bringing me back to the Chevy fold. (My first car was an Impala, sb350, wrecked in '84.)
I've had my eye on the 6th generation Camaros since their introduction with the 2016 model, and a test drive finally sealed the deal!

I'm not new to enthusiast cars, having owned 2 modified WRX's (one with an engine transplant, larger turbo, etc), but wow, I'm enjoying the feeling of a V8, again! Given that my most recent vehicle was a Subaru BRZ, you can imagine that the LT1's power delivery is still blowing my mind, at present.

Anyhow, I wanted to stop by and say hello. I've been an admin on a Subaru forum for several years, and I'm looking forward to getting to know this forum, as well!

Thanks, working on it. It was bad weather when I picked up the car last weekend, so the dealer agreed to detail it for me tomorrow. I'll snap some shots, then.

I'm still learning my way around how to judge distances in the car; I'm used to being able to parallel park pretty easily in my Subies. Does anyone have a "Parallel parking a Camaro for n00bs" video?

I know it will come in time..I don't want to mar up those pretty wheels on a curb.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Ray,

WELCOME!! We have traded a few posts on the Subaru board. This board is friendly with some very knowledgeable people ranging from true track rats to real "grease under the finger nails" folks.

Mind your manners till you get to 1,500 miles. Waiting simply builds the anticipation.

Welcome aboard and that car is stunning.

Only suggestion I can give may be to try and adjust your mirrors like so to eliminate blind spots while is still new to you. I've never had visibility issues in any car prior to the cockpit of these, but once adjusted I have had complete confidence in what is beside and behind me.
