Sirius/XM Issue
Has anyone experienced consistent cutting out of the satellite signal when driving around? I am thinking it might be the antenna in the C7. For me, my prior car did not have the issue in the same territory. I have had the car for two weeks now and it has not improved. Bob

I've only noticed signal loss when under gas station or drive-thru canopies or when next to large trucks on the highway. I suppose the lower antenna location on Stingrays is blocked a bit more than other cars.

poor XM reception
My XM cuts out on me all the time. I don't recall this being a problem in other cars I have owned. I cannot imagine that this is "normal." Has anyone come up with a remedy?

XM
The C6 antenna(s) were in the side mirrors, where the one in the C7 is under the left front fender. It shouldn't make much difference.
However, something that might be an issue is the carbon fiber that is in the fender. As I understand it, no panels are fiberglass anymore, rather a combo of glass and carbon fibers. Carbon could be shielding it somewhat. |
