hello from Dayton Nevada
I'm a traitor, I jumped ship. I went from Pontiac to Chevy.
does that make me a bad man? Just got my hands on a White 2001 Z28 with the SS package, WOW! All 3 of my previous F bodies were Firebirds, 2 Formulas and a '76 455 4speed TA. this ride smokes them all but it lacks the leg room I was used to in my other cars. It also needs a LOT of TLC. this car has seen better days and will see them again! 104836 on the clock but it has a brand new soft top and the 6 speed tranny feels great. I see fun times ahead with this car Last edited by wildpew; 04-11-2018 at 02:19 PM. Reason: resize photo |

Traitor? NO....its ALL IN THE FAMILY!! (GM)
BTW.....CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy. oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks, don't mind if I do. this place looks to be a great place for information on my car, actuality, not mine in title yet. long story and still kinda POed about it. I can't get a loan to put it in my name so I have to keep the car in my daughter's name until I can, assume her loan.
you see, my oldest daughter bought this car for her boyfriend, she lives here at home trying to get on her feet and get out of my house. She's 26. boyfriend has NO drivers license per Kalifornia DUI and NO job because of DUI. They signed at 24.99% interest on a $9000.00 car that is not in that great of condition. deferred the 1st payment for 2 months then still couldn't make the payment so Dad got stuck with a car he doesn't want to afford. Fixed income and a $400 payment plus insurance Sorry for the rant. They only made 42 like this one so I know I have a rare car and I will take care of it and fix all the blunders that have happened to it. but really all we wanted was some property over looking Walker Lake and a Travel trailer to go see my Mom and our grand kids. Oh well, I now have my 4th F body

Thanks all!
now I have a plugged fuel filter, easy enough to change but I know the pump is also done. had to have her towed home on a flat bed 10 miles away out in Stagecoach. Every one of my F bodies has left me stranded at some point. GM tech friend of mine said I'm gonna just love changing out the fuel pump, he was laughing.
