what was your first camaro and how old were you when you bought it?
This is something I thought up about us camaro lovers.
If we all want the new 5th gen. then how many remember our first camaro and what age we got it. Mine was a 1972 ss Cherry red that I got when I was 16 yrs old .

My first F-body was a 69 Firebird 400 and I was 16. The car was three different colors and had no gauges. I hooked an oil pressure gauge up and drove it like that for seven months. Had to sell it before I turned 17. My First Camaro I still Drive today. Its a 74 Z28 sporting a 402 BB that I built. I bought the car my freshman year in collage at the age of 24. I don't think I could ever sell it...

I've owned 5 Camaro's.
'75 V8, '79 straight 6 w/ 3 spd. manual, '89 V8 5 spd., '97 Z28, '99 SS. The '75 was my Aunts, and one day, it appeared in my driveway! My Dad brought it home, handed me the keys, and said, "She's your's." So, at the age of 15, I became an official "Camaro-fanatic". She was a sight, white, red vinyl top, red carpeting, white seats, and black dash and center console. But I loved that car! I'd spend Saturdays taking whatever I could off the car and cleaning it for hours. I've loved every one of my Camaro's, and my '99 is especially special. I can't wait to add another Camaro to my family. |

Mine was a 92' 25th anniversary edition white RS, I was 17 and am still upset that I got rid of it :( . I traded it for a 96' RS Black, honestly one of the best looking Camaros I've seen. I'll have to post a pic someday. Now I have a 98 Z28, Black 6sp.

Mine was a 67 RS/SS.
The 327 was replaced with a 396 and then a 454 LS6 Black and Bad Ass. Never lost on Woodward My next will be the 2009 Z28 =Silver with Blue Stripes/Cowl Induction hood shown on this site. I will also build the motor. It will be built............. Perfect. Justas all current GM V8's and V6's and all GM Powertrains are built in North America. PURRFECT. Ferrari, Honda, TOYOTA -- --cannot do it. They can only try to copy. Whatever configuration you want. We we will build it. We have the talent, old and young. We have the best Powertrains in the world. We also have Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the Intimidator Camaro Be Careful though... I still have a 69 427 in the garage 12.5:1......... I am 18 now and I got my 2001 Camaro when I was 16. I also have a 1969 SS Camaro that has been in the family since 1970, we're in the process of restoring it. I am already saving up my pennies to buy a new 2009 Z28 or SS, not sure which one I will get yet. Then I'll have 3 Camaros, and 3 is a very good number! :p

My Dad's dream car has always been the 69 Camaro. It had been for so long because his aunt had a white 69 Camaro Inline 6 that he loved!
Ever since , he has always been trying to buy one, parents didnt help him pay for one that was for sale. Today I found him the car, I was in auto shop and somebody was selling a really beat up 69 Camaro Z/28. They took the 302 out of it, and now has a 327. So that is what we have now, it's our family project. |

My first girlfriend.....85' Camaro
When I was 10 y/o my Mother was looking for a new car and to my suprise, asked me what I would want since it would be my 16th b-day present. Unfortunately she would only get the 2.8 but that was changed shortly after turning 18. Stroked 383 and 500+ HP later it was a porche red Mutang killer.
