What Is The Current Status Of The Z51 Constraint?

My dealer has informed me that my Z51 order is currently in the top 20 nationwide. If BG is building any Z51s, it seems that the car should be built pretty soon, yet there is no TPW. Does anybody have any info about the constraint?

I don't know what the constraints are, BUT... I ordered mine on Veteran's Day last year and my dealership told me car won't be here till April or May, possibly June.

Here is what is being posted in the other forum... It shows that there are 62 Z51's available nationwide for production in the coming weeks. (As I understood the conversation) If your dealership receives one of these and there are no other constraint items, you should be getting built soon. I went to 2000 status today with a Z and FAY as well. I'd ask what they have been granted for allocations and where you fit with your dealer.

My order with Z51 finally went through last week as well(odered august 20th), I was told the constraint is still there but it seems that Z51s are getting through.

My Z51 was ordered on 11/19 and is probably arriving next week. When I ordered mine my dealership DID have an allocation and had to "use or lose" it. I grabbed it up.

I ordered my Z51 on 12/18 and have a 3300 status with a TPW of 1/27. I think the dealerships that are getting the allocations for Z51's are getting a "use or lose" allocation. It just depends on if the dealerships that are getting the allocations can find someone ready to order or not. Otherwise they lose it and on to the next one!

How does one learn of their order status (other than on the Chevy website), and what do the 4 digit numbers mean?

ha! I placed my order on the day yours went 2000. congrats! don't know if i'll be able to wait it out for as long as you have though.
