Compared to last year, Corvette sales up 128.9%

The C7 Corvette is the best thing since the sliced-bread-and-penicillin sandwich, and its sales success in November reflects its awesomeness.
Compared to this time last year, Corvette sales are up 128.9 percent. With 2,527 deliveries last month, the Stingray outsold the Buick Regal and Chevrolet Spark. For the year, the Corvette is up 11.3 percent. Much of that year-to-date increase can be blamed on the C7, which has been on sale since September.


How important is the Corvette’s redesign in regard to its sales success? The recently redesigned GMC Sierra increased its sales 22.5 percent in November, and the refreshed Chevrolet Malibu is up 40.9 percent. When comparing those vehicles’ sales increases to the Corvette’s, it appears people really like the 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray.
