OP I can definitely see the resemblance of the 69. If they did not wrap around the side of the quarter panel and were flat they would look very much like the 69 taillights. I did notice that myself but did not take the amount of time to really look at them. Thanks for the good eye!

AGREED!! Late 2nd gen and the entire 3rd gen have the exact same shape!

I think they look like taillights from the old (90s) Chevy Lumina. 'Not digging it at all, but the front looks okay.

Prelude is what comes to mind.

I was also behind a chevy volt at the gas station yesterday and it made me think of them

The only thing I see is someone overcompensating for something with that trash can hanging out the back. It's easy to pick one small part of a car and say it's similar to another, but comparing the rears as hole of both, they look nothing alike.

If you can't see that they took the 69 taillights and brought them to 2013, I can't help you.

Also the taillight aren't flat the whole way across like the preludes are. The middle section is recessed, and the back up lights are in the middle light too. the preludes back ups run along the bottom.

It's like saying "my house is a rectangle and so is yours so they are the same house" when one is a cape cod and one is a two story.

Everyone that knows the 69 Camaro should know what they were trying to do. It's more of a 69 and late 70's style combo. Would have been nice if they had stuck with the original 69 design but oh well. I like my 2010 SS still,

I agree and I feel old but I rode in one in 1969
