Must be a way...
Must be a way to tell at this point exactly when they updated the vert tops in 2012. I was just wondering if someone could tell me how to check it against my car VIN?
My top is showing some signs of wear and it is still under warranty. Thanks for the help!!

I don't know who to check by VIN, but I have heard that around July or August 2012 is when they switched to the updated 2013 tops. I have a 2013 that was built in Sept. 2012, and I had checked several times before buying that it had the newer top on it. I was very careful and waited several months while dealer had it on lot to be sure. if your vert was built before May 2012, then I would pretty certain you had the older version of the tops.

The car is at the dealer right now and they are looking at the top as well as some other things before the full warranty expires. |
