Splitter? GFX vs 1LE vs ACS T4?
Question, shopping for splitters, local to me there is a used 1LE a used GFX and comparable in price is the ACS T4.
Question I have is,....between the GFX and 1LE, is there really much difference in terms of install? Durability...is the ACS T4 easier to install? More Durable? I live in Ontario, drive my SS all year round, so looking for something that won't shatter to pieces in the winter as well. Opinions? I have a Summit White, 2SS Convertible, so I think a black splitter will look nice with the black roof and other black bits! |

Any advice??!? It seems that the OEM used sell for close to what ACS is new? I am curious as to durability? How is the OEM durable as compared to aftermarket? New the OEM splitters are so much compared to aftermarket....is OEM truly superior?

ACS looks the best IMO.

OEM is very heavy duty . . the ACS, while very nice, is just a top finished layer of fiberglass.

I have the ACS and while the top is nice, it's not finished as nicely on the bottom as the 1LE splitter which is completely flat on the bottom. At the time the 1LE was more expensive, otherwise I would have bought it.

I like OEM but since it was almost 2x as much as my T5 (v6 version of the T4) I went with the T5. I really like it, it has been very durable and was easy to install. But I chose to get bolts instead of the "push pin" fasteners because they are stronger and are NOT a PITA to install.
