Order is going in for my 1SS at Webb Chevy in Plainfield IL. They are going to honor employee price even though it is not available. 39,900 is MSRP, did not get what I wanted in trade for my 2010, but I walk out the door after my $1000 deposit owing 22,866 for a 1SS with no extra money for down payment. I do plan to put more down though when it arrives.

1SS
Hyper Blue
A8
NPP
56W wheels

Don't count on big discounts on the new Camaro until several months into the new year. IMO

I really don't know what dealers are actually giving invoice, I spoke to 5 different dealers before placing my order and all of them said with a hot new car they could never go under MSRP. I was fine with that, this is the car I want and Im willing to pay a fair price. With my options it came out to about 46K (since I lost my USAA discount). Traded in my 2011 Camaro when placing the order, once it arrives I will write a check for the remainder and be on my way and happy.

Make sense! They care about numbers and that's probably how they get paid vs amount of money they make maybe.

They will probably make close to 6K on my trade. They could afford to match employee pricing in my case.

Supplier is about $100 to $200 over invoice. Basically the same.

Laborsmith

In thinking about this, it occurs to me this is based on what may be dated therefore no longer valid info. But basically the same.

Interesting.

On Chrysler side, supplier is specifically 1% under invoice.

Supplier is not available right now, most likely in a few months, probably spring time.

Discounts are not available, but as has been stated before, nothing stops a dealer from selling you the car for $1 to $1 million, they can sell the car for whatever price they want.

I disagree. *I* would stop them from selling me a Camaro for $1 million.
