Targeting Delivery of Factory Order for the end of December/early January
If I were to factory order a 1SS 1LE to shoot for a late December delivery, when should the order be placed?
I realize there is a whole lot of variability, and if the car is late and takes longer than anticipated that is OK. I just don't want it early. Thanks for the input. |

Based on my order, I'd say 6 to 8 weeks before you are ready for it. Obviously, as you said, there are a lot of variables that can change that.

It’s never about Chevy building at a slow pace, it’s max 6-7 weeks once they start the build.
But if the dealer has no allocation and lies to you, it could be NEVER... |

From 2000 to start figure around three weeks. As in everything related to the customer orders, this is a guideline as there is only one rule with out an exception: the dealer must have an allocation against which to place the order.
The rest of the process is exceptions as there are no other rules. Laborsmith |

Seeing as Becky is willing to provide everyone in the US with status updates on orders I would go with her. She has given me 10x more service and support than my current dealership.
