So I've been searching 1LE with low millage to import... and I think I've found a good one with the RS package. The only thing I'm not sure about is that the exhaust system looks non-standard but I figured I'd ask you guys why it looks the way it does. Maybe it's an option, or maybe someone put it on themselves?

Here's some photos of it, let me know what you think and if there's anything that appears wrong about the car in general. Sorry the photos aren't very good but it's all I've got at the moment.

Hard to tell, that's the GFX body kit that has stainless ports in the rear for the exhaust exit, who knows what's behind it!

Is the GFX body kit OEM GM? Could the car have been ordered with it from new?

As far as I understand it is a dealership option, someone might be able to confirm that.

Yes the GFX kit is an official Chevrolet part. It can be ordered from new, or of course fitted at a later date. It's impossible to tell if the exhaust itself is stock or not, from the photos.

Thanks guys, I just haven't seen many of these body kits before and wasn't too sure about it.

Looks like the wheels have had spacers fitted or is that standard on the RS - over to you Stray for confirmation or otherwise.

I believe the 1LE rims and Goodyear tires are a bit wider than SS or v6 rims

After watching this video,

I think it's normal for the wheels to 'poke out of the fenders' as they do.

Anyway, I've gone for it, offer accepted! The car is mine.

Only 1 problem with it, it's 4000 miles away in Tennessee, lol.
Anyone got a teleport machine I can borrow for a few days.

I just checked their inventory and that car is not listed. It may have been sold already.

Yeah, as a sign of commitment to me they've removed it from their inventory! :-)

By sheer chance I went to school with someone who moved to TN last year.
He just so happens to have an auto dealership of his own in Nashville and they are 5 minutes drive away from Serra of Nashville.

Even though it's sold to me, he's going down there right now to test drive it and kick the tires :-) Small world or what!
