Cool C7 Corvette owner runs 12.23 @ 114.88 stock (Auto, Z51, 3LT)

Factory stock equipment includes: Automatic transmission, Z51 & 3LT packages. VBox acceleration testing showed acceleration from 0-60 mph in 4.15 sec. and 0-100 mph in 9.50 sec.

Not much better than an LS3. The engine is producing more power for sure based on the posted dynos but with the added weight of the C7 and a high DA may explain somewhat of a disappointing time. I'm sure will see much better with cooler air.

Looks like it has strong potential to go high 11s / 12 flat... 100% stock on stock tires, in decent-perfect track & DA conditions.

Definitely!

I see the C7 as a step above the LS3 like the LS3 was to the LS2. Not a lot but a tad. More than a tad perhaps in the handling department. Quite a step blow the Z06 however in 1/4 mile performance but maybe almost equal on the round track.

C6 - 4.5 0-60
Z06 - 3.9 0-60
C7 - 4.1 0-60
I'd say the C7 did quite well. Especially cosidering it was the heavier loaded model.

C7 is a monster. I can only imagine what some forced induction can do to this motor.

C7 Z06 i would imagine will be jaw dropping

BTW... although a tick over 2 mph slower, Hennessey's pass still replicated R&T's with the 7-spd m/t!

Some good news for C7 automatics

Pretty fast times for a bone stock C7 automatic.

think was the high DA..
they only about 100lbs heavier then c6 but dyno 30 to 40 more wHP

so far best i see was a 119mph trap speed.. think it ran 12.0
they running good.. i think when people have them awhile and get some track days with great weather there will be 11.8s
