Let's hope so.

I was looking back at that North America engine production forecast for Silverado/Sierra and so far, it's been accurate. Predicted the 5.3/6.2L V8s would remain and the 3.0L Duramax I-6.

All that's missing is the 2.7L I-4.

I really despise that naming structure.

So this year's 24 Hours of Daytona is turning into a ****show.

Continental tires keep blowing out on the Prototypes.
Someone crashed before the race even started.
A Porsche got parked for 5 minutes because their fuel flow was too fast.
Everyone is accusing Ford of sandbagging the GTs.

Conclusion was boring. I was hoping the 'Vettes would get up there at some point and challenge. Oh well.

I think it was an Audi that got parked. After the race their refueling rig was determined to be within spec as well... So much for Montaplast continuing their hot streak of wins.

I could see the GT's possibly sandbagging, but that car is hard to touch on any high speed track. I was happy the Corvettes stayed close the whole time but the race was a little dull by the end.

It was a huge shitshow for the Prototypes. I felt so bad for WTR when he said they were done. That's a tough call but it was the right one to make.

Still a good race. I think I caught nearly 18 hours of it.

It's probably a good thing this is Continental's last year.

They were trying to play it off like the teams were pushing the cars too hard, but WTR came out and said they were well within the recommended specs.

Yet the 5 and 31 were able to double stint tires no problem. They ran into problems when trying to triple stint the tires though. Lol a bit biased it seems

Cadillac average ATP at $54,488.

Escalade ATP - $84,260
Escalade ESV ATP - $88,072
CTS ATP - $58,000
XT5 ATP - $49,100

Sales might be down but people are paying big bucks to get into a Cadillac.

Fen ask you all the time, GM have any plans of getting a competitor to all these new work vans? A lot of my customers are replacing their old chevy vans with new Transits, the Nissan or the Dodge ones where they can change the length and roof height. Most of them aren't even considering a GM van and some of these guys are GM lifers
