Has anyone lowered their C7 and if so, what are the pros/cons and product(s) used?

TIA

We I installed new coilovers in my appearance mods. The pros are , the ride looks totally sick, and since it's black, the stealth is amazing , they cost me over a 2500 dollars and an extra 500 for the front strut tower bar and the sway brace. The handling improved by a lot , really sticks to the ground,. the cons are obvio, I've trouble getting out my drive way and the speed bumps hurt you bad. but for the looks and performance totally worth it.

Lowered 3/4" with stock bolts. Just a little made it look crouched down ready to leap forward. Handling more positive. Scraping only because I added a front splitter.

When using coilovers, do you remove the transverse composite leafsprings?

4 full turns of the stock bolts on each end using a 10m ratcheting wrench.

Hope you know the pros and cons of lowering it on stock bolts like rougher ride, tires wearing quicker etc.

I'm all ears. Why would it ride rougher? The suspension was not changed, only the height the car sits above the spring.

I had the alignment checked. Why would tire wear quicker?

When you had the alignment checked, did they make any changes? Or was the 4 turns not enough to change the alignment?

I had smacked a hole and the drivers side was "knocked out". I had them reset to the latest alignment numbers from GM so I cannot say if anything was affected.
