Well that just took the fun out of the Nurburgring name. At least when the Cobalt SS did the ring, it set a decent time.

USSR finishes second in race, USA finishes next to last! They fail to report that there were only two in the race....

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit... Even the Prius got a record on the track hahaha
"Yes, a Toyota Prius just set a lap record at the ‘Ring, but it had nothing to do with speed. Its 20 minute, 59 second time was practically walking speed compared to the sub-seven minute times clocked by the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder. Instead, Toyota pursued a record no one else would have considered. Achieving 581 miles per gallon over the 12.9-mile circuit, a Prius Plug-In Hybrid is now the most fuel-efficient car ever to lap the Nurburgring." |

I'm just glad that it was Toyota Thailand and not a global push for this "special edition." *sigh*
I miss when Corolla's actually were sporty for the price. Sad to think my old AE86 GT-S and AE92 GT-S and TE72 3tc-powered (built engine though) Corolla all had the same horsepower or more as the new one... and they were all 80's cars. |

Except that the Nurburgring is "just a toll road."
