Drop It Like Its Hot! (Pfadt Lowering Springs)

I just got my Pfadt lowering springs and front/rear sways installed.

I CANNOT BE MORE HAPPY

Like most of us on these forums, I read everything I could about different kits and suspension offerings. I decided to go with Pfadt Stage 2 performance kit because this car is my daily driver and rarely sees track/course time.

The kit gave me the stance I was looking for (super aggressive) and handles like its on rails. I didnt know what to expect from the ride quality being this is my first sports car and first time to mod suspension, but I have to say, I am really pleased with the outcome.

The best I can describe is its like OEM ride quality on steroids!

Here are some before shots:

And After the Drop

I used the same springs for my drop and hot dam. 1.25 all the way around and it's frigging perfect.

Congrats ShizzyIzzy! I'm planning on pulling the trigger soon on the same set up, for about the same reasons. Glad to see you are so happy about the set up. I plan on getting them, but did you get the end links? Do you mind giving us a round number as to how much you paid for the install?

Colemanvoice, the install ended up at around $475 with alignment. The guys at the shop said the OEM front sway is a booger to get off so it took a little extra time. But I requested it be done w/o cutting so I can keep all the OEM parts.

The mod is by far the best $$ I have spent. And the most fun

Oh, and I didn't get the endlinks yet. Honestly its quiet as a mouse right now. I am going for the solid subframe connectors next though.

Right on, thanks for the info. You may or may not have seen, they released new OEM quite end links. I'm like you, I'm keeping all stock parts, that I can. I doubt it would happen with my style of driving, but I don't want bent end links.

Thanks again...and enjoy!

I hope you guys are enjoying the kit! We had some specific goals in mind when we developed the StageII package, the highest on the priority list being to reestablish a more neutral handling balance compared to stock.

Here is a video we took of one of our development cars on the skidpad. You can see how much more responsive and balanced the car is after installing the stageII kit!

My Pfadt springs and sways are sitting in my garage right now, in their original packaging, collecting dust.

Your car looks great though, I'll never understand why GM didn't make this the factory stock ride height.

Sounds like you need to call somebody up and get those installed for your return!
This definitely is the way it should have been from the factory!

Thank you for your service to us! :flag2:

I have the Pfadt Stage 2 on my personal Camaro, and my driveway is pretty steep going up into my garage, and I don't have any problems, but who knows about yours. I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of SoCal Stage 2 Camaro's running around, hopefully they'll be able to hook you up, because this package is awesome!
