These 'Dad destroys ____ after kid ____' videos are about as real as pro wrestling. Sure, the thing that you're watching happened ... but its all been scripted and everybody is fine with it.
The intent is to get the video spread virally by people that either a) think the Dad is going way over the line or b) is teaching their brat of a kid an important lesson. How you feel is less important than getting a strong reaction so that as many people as possible to share it. That earns the creator of the video, if not money then at least fame. For tricking people into thinking he destroyed his kids cellphone/laptop/car/etc. I stopped watching the videos after I figured that out, because I don't really feel like giving attention whores what they want.

Still, sad to see such a nice looking car get Bobcatted all over the driveway, but I presume this was an investment: Somebody spent $1000 on an Audi with a blown transmission and no motor, hoping to recoup that investment with view revenue. The backstory just gives it a lil' sump'n titillating in order to justify breathlessly sharing the video with lots of people. |

The whole thing was planned out and staged and the car set up to have this done to it. As many times as it was hit in the engine bay and underneath, gas, oil and other fluids would be pouring out everywhere yet nothing ever does. |
