Had a blast at the Mohawk event at Gingerman! Thanks a ton Paul for letting us Camaro guys take part.

Can anyone chime in and tell me who was the one there with the 2010ish white Indy pace car convertible? I talked to the guy a lot but never caught his name. Thanks!

I was there....
Going to need some new tires...soon.
Its a Syn... (Bob)... BFG Comp2 A/S on his ride. He ran harder and was out longer than me and his tires held up excellent. Nothing like the crap on my tire. No wonder they get rave reviews, use them on the track, when it rains and when it gets cold. I will be getting me some of those. (Gets cold up here in Canada, Eh!)

Thanks to Paul and MOHAWK TRACK EXPERIENCE for a great day. We had good weather and a good time. The goodies bag was really appreciated. You know it was a great track day when you need to change your brake pads, rotors, and front tires when you get home:-)

Thank you Paul and MOHAWK TRACK EXPERIENCE for such a wonderful day and an awesome experience.
I would also like to thank the instructors for taking the time to explain everything with great details and to ride with me in my car and to drive my car as well as offering to take me on some really fast laps in the special race car!!! I learned A LOT! I had no idea what these cars can really do and how far they can be pushed in the turns!!! I also learned what a car needs for better runs (i.e. special brake fluid, mine boiled every time in the 4th, 5th lap and I lost brakes, nerve wrecking experience... after which I had to slow down and pit before the end of the session). Tires matters a lot, too. My all season Conti Extreme Contact DSW were somewhat OK but I was losing the rears if I was pushing hard. The back straight was a delight reaching well over 100 mph before the breaking zone
Next on my MOD list is a strut tower brace, brake fluid, summer tires (maybe OEM ZL1 wheels/tires).

I met lots of good car guys at the track, thank you all!

My pleasure. I know there won't be 50th celebrations next year but in the event that some or all of you come back to Woodward we'd love to have you back.

Yes there's more photos. Nick is supposed to send me more links tonight. You could also contact him directly via his page, I know he's at Gingerman today.

You and I.

But we made the day that much better for everyone else. We let them experience the thrill of passing another car on the race track.
We made their day extra special and can take pride in that.

Sabio, I hope you get these tires. If anyone lives north of Missouri, these tires are a must. It will give you the freedom to drive until the snow flies. Not when it gets below 40 degrees, big difference.

Had them installed about a month ago. Fantastic tires. Noticeable improvement in grip and handling.
38F this morning. Tires gave great road feel no issues with traction. I will have no problems with these when it gets even colder. The stock rubber was scary in the spring when it was this cold.
