Have you actually tried to disable OnStar? It's buried in series with a few of your onboard computers. Snip OnStar out of the circuit and you've instantly made a stationary playhouse for your kids.

Pull the fuse and out goes much of your dashboard.

The GM engineers are clueless as to making a working, leak-free convertible, but they're not the ones who designed the OnStar System to be tamper-proof.

Trust me on this. Or not!

(I plead the 5th on what I did to my Suburban)

The saddest thing in my lifetime has been watching the slow death of privacy.

GM and Ford watching your driving habits is nothing compared to the extent the government believes it should be observing your life.

+1. The only "privacy" we got in this world is the right to take a shower with the bathroom door shut and shades shut. For some reason I fear the government is monitoring this post and is looking to accuse me of conspiracy.
