E85 conversion

I'm thinking about doing E85 conversion, do I need to replace the lines? I've read lots of posts and some say yes and some say no. I have a ZL1 pump and I know I would need the flex fuel adapter and injectors just not sure about other lines.

Nope, good to go as the manufacturer have already accounted for ethanol...

I didn’t change mine. Older cars would be an issue when there were built before they added ethanol into the fuel — I Believe that was 2002 when they started putting ethanol in gas...

Fuel lines will be fine, contact dsx they can answer all you questions, the zl1 pump will be the biggest limitation after you change the injectors

With your setup, you’ll need to upgrade your injectors and switch to a duel pump fuel system. Lines won’t be a problem..

Do the duel fuel pumps require a return line?

You're going to need injectors and a fuel pump.

I logged my fuel pump.

With just a Cold Air Inductions CAI, JRE scoop, BBK cat deletes and full Corsa catback, my injectors are at 90% duty cycle WOT and my fuel pump maxes out at 100% around 4k-ish rpm's.

The E85 I ran was testing in at 73% alcohol.

Yeah I'll do it myself when I pull the engine, hopefully this spring

The system im running with e85 is a lpe twin pump with aug 850 injectors (996@58psi), this would be the Minimum set up i would run, and if i did it all over again i would of done 1k aug injectors, also this is using the factory lines, if your really thinking of upgrading you fuel system agp has a couple awesome systems

Thats what I have is the Lingenfelter kit.
Its CTSV pumps with a reflashed truck computer to my understanding. Im running CTSV/LSA injectors.
66% DC on 93 and 94% DC on E85.

I've got you covered for a full flex fuel conversion. My fuel system is super easy to install (well, the flex fuel kit is even easier), and it'll provide you fuel well up into the 900+ range on ethanol without breaking a sweat.
