Will you get the most HP? Nope, should you run 91/93 octane? probably.

SO many have upgraded you ask the eternal question: and yes the answer is usually always YES.. go v-8 with 12k on the odometer its like new, and the whole deal is really shopping around and getting the best deal. And there are more fish in the sea.

A good '14 SS then... That V8 is amazing. For sure, the V6 too... they have more hp than my old 4th gen V8. But these things in a V8, man... phenomenal...

I had a 2011 RS Vert and I "DOWNGRADED" (since that's what people like to consider it) to a 2010 2SS/RS. I made the switch from a V6 to a V8 because I wanted to start doing more performance mods ... and there's not much performance you can do with a v6 unless you TT it and mods along those lines.
Remember: your year and the 10-13 is slightly different. I personally prefer the 10-13, hence why I bought a 2010 and not a 14-15. Do what you want, remember the pros and cons of getting a V8 before making your final decision (mainly Premium gas / gas mileage). and like Red2014SS said.. 12k miles is NOTHING. I bought my SS with high miles, but for my year, the mileage was where it should be averaged at. After my little story.. GET THE SS !!!!

If you like appearance mods only then stay with your V6.
If you'd like to start doing performance mods then get the V8.

KABoom1701 your right. I would rather have a V8. I put all that stuff on my LS and it looks great to me. Nothing wrong with a V6, it just doesn't sound right to an Old guy like me lol. Thanks for the inputs C5 members
