the 6th gen is for one a different vehicle all together. I think it shares 1 part with the 5th gen. Its all new basicly. The engine is 11.5:1 so it will gain more on E85 and has direct injection so it has a lower injector duty cycle right off the bat.

He is still NA. The other is a white 17', M6, with ported throttle body, full exhaust, and e85. They both claim it is 40 hp easy. Now this is all them talking a big game but I have yet to see dynographs. point is, they are both pushing me to get lsa injectors, zl1 fuel pump and the sensor so I can run corn. How is it that we aren't seeing the "gains" they are? You can't tell me the new LT1 is just that good...
Maybe he meant 40whp total with all mods done, not just E85? I was told 10-15whp (e85) was a normal increase with my setup. The larger tq increase was due to the cam I think...

Also, it looks like your l99 is a 14 or 15 model and I thought they started putting ZL1 pumps in all SS models by then?

I spoke earlier today with my buddy with the blue a8. He baselined at 381 to the wheel. With all mods he is putting down 495. The switch from 93 to E85, it picked up about 30 hp. On our cars we get 2-10? Damn. The thing is, around these parts I only have access to 91. I wonder what I would pick up...

Where did you hear that the 14-15 models have the ZL one pump? I'm pretty sure the only thing I've heard of is that the 1LE cars have it, regardless of model year.

From what I understand all SS 14 and 15 models switched to a ZL1 pump and electrical steering. I’m guessing Chevy wanted standardization after introducing the 1LE.

When I lived in Alaska I was stuck with 91 pump too. Had to add Teroco (1/4 can) per tank to improve octane level. With the Teroco added and all my mods I was dynoed 490whp and 460wtq. Of course every dyno is different and “numbers” are only part of the equation.

Like BO stated, 30whp raise on a n/a only engine seems very high. Usually huge gains like that are seen on FI engines using corn or meth...

Who can confirm this?

I received the flex fuel sensor from DSX for Christmas. Will take me some time to actually get the injectors to go with it, but I'll be sure to do a before/after dyno as well since I'm N/A just to show the results. I plan on F/I way down the road so it will help in the end regardless haha.

Those 950cc injectors for future boost?
Nice that the 1LE has the ZL1 pump from the factory.

From everything I have seen, the 1LE's have a ZL1 fuel pump in them..not sure if this helps.
