Shorter rear drag Wheel... HELP!

Hello All

Anyone here ever run a shorter rear wheel tire combo on a ZL1???

I put a Rep 18x11 wheel with Hoosier DOT Drag radials 315 30 R18. 26" tire Stock is 28".

As soon as I start moving then hit the breaks the peddle chatters and Stablitrack freaks out.

I'm thinking its the smaller diameter is making the computer unhappy!

Anyone run a combo like this and what did you do to make it work?

Pull the ABS fuse?

You could always go with a shorter diameter front. It should lower the weight of the assembly, too. Win-Win!

I run the ET street R (29" tall) on my Rep 18x11 setup and hasn't thrown any codes. Drives as good as the MT DRs on my stock 20s.

Thanks everyone! Fuse pull and life is good again.

Few mods coming up but for now just wanted it to come out of the hole harder. So far so good.

#7860 and ZL1 kid you guys running the Super Chevy Show?

Clutch has been slipping in 2nd-3rd gear and I don't have no time to replace it, but I'll be there to show it off and just have some fun

I ran ET street 2s when I was 650whp and they did the job at the track and decent job on the street, drove like stock.
I only have 2 passes on the new 18 set up but they flat out hook at the track, bogged both passes bad, gonna launch it higher when I get a new clutch and should get my 60 down... If planning to add more power go 18s now, if your at your stopping point just get the 20 DRs

Im sure this is probably not do able, but here goes. Way back when i was kart racing, we used to stretch our tires to get the right height. Is it possible to stretch the hoosiers a bit?

You want to run a 28" tire to keep the stability track from going off like that
