Talking Done Deal... Good bye Krypton Green...

Took my 2017 Krypton Green Camaro 2SS to Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, Iowa last Saturday.

VERY pleased with the amount they gave me for it and the fact they took it as a trade in on my C8 now, so I'm officially on "The List". Now all I have to do is wait for my turn.

The wait right now for a new Stingray is 12-18 months. Gives me lots of time to get aftermarket goodies for it. Maybe even a supercharger.

Anyway, everything is in writing so there's no "dealer surprises" when it comes in.

Brad, Karl's son told me... "We don't sell above MSRP on anything because our customers will remember who treated them right when the market turns around."

If anyone wants a 2017 Krypton Green 2SS with only 4,805 miles on it, you know where to go or DM me for the salesperson name. Hes a good kid and deserves another sale.

Excuse the dirty rims and rear end, it rained nearly all the way there, but the ceramic coat kept it spot free.

Krypton Green is gorgeous, if that wasnt 1000+ miles away I'd be vaguely interested.

Congratulations on your (incoming) C8!

I was at a car show Memorial Day. There were like 4 different C8's there. They are for sure some pretty sweet looking rides. Congrats...

Super nice Camaro and you'll love the Vette. If and when you get it. We travel RT 20 back and forth to Yellowstone about every 4 mouths. Love the Blackhill's
and Casper on the way to see Yellowstone.

There was a guy here a few weeks ago who had his KG SS totaled, so hopefully he sees this and can get back into this one!

Edit: I went back and found his post, and PM'd him. Good luck "Booher"!

If I didn't already have a car waiting to be built, I might have been very interested. Krypton Green is my favorite color for this car, and the color I would have gotten if it was still available.

I can't figure out how you guys with such low miles don't get the urge to drive your cars. I have put on 1100 miles in a around 3 months, and don't feel like I drive it enough.

I did about 5-6k miles a year on my last weekend car, and yea, it didn't feel like I used it enough either. I ended up being way below the mileage for the years used on my extended warranty....

The C8's look just bores me, plus I have no idea how people are willing to put up with a 12-18 month wait for a low spec trim (Stingray). It may not even be an attractive proposition at all in a year and a half...

But, to each their own, I certainly won't judge... and someone will soon be very-very happy with a krypton green ultra low mileage SS
