How the C7 Affects Collector & Used Vette Markets?

I was going to buy a big block 425 HP '65-'67 NCRS Vert if it wasn't for the C7 (can't afford 75 grand on a C7 & about 100 large or more for that C2). Decided on the C7 as it has the wow factor, I can drive it long distances, and fully engage it everyday instead of just looking at it given the C2 gas situation. Wondering if there are others like me forgoing a collector Vette for the C7, selling or trading in their older Vettes for a C7, and what that is doing to the collector and used Vette markets. Your thoughts?

I just purchased a C7 vette and also have a 1968 C3 vert 427. Both offer driving pleasure and excitement. The C7 obviously is more of an everyday driver as opposed to the earlier generations which are sunny Sunday drivers. The C7 in my opinion will help the collectability of the earlier gens because of the re introduction of the Stingray designation as well as the iron clad history of the corvette earlier gen collectability. The C7 will depreciate while the early gens will always appreciate. My opinion is to have the best of both worlds.
