Male or Female

As we all know, GM must be able to market this new beauty to both males and females. The 4th Gen was popluar and it sold well. However, a vast majority of males purchased this vehicle than females did. Yes, there are a lot of female Camaro owners out there. BUT, we all know that the Mustang has been a more popluar choice for women. Why? Seriously, I don't know. What I'm curious about is the ratio of males to females on this site (which might give us an idea on sales ratios to men vs. women).

Yeah...I put this up late last night. I see there's a ton of views, but just a few responses....come on folks.I know of at least 3 from past discussions but that's what kind of worries me. I'm just looking for a ratio of guys to girls here on this site. I mean, what if it were 55% males and 45% females that responded? That would look great to see an almost even # on here, but I know that's not going to happen. I'm just curious to see where we're at.

I chose not to have it a public poll, so other won't know who's already voted.

Na I think this car will sell best to males but the looks of it will also draw the women in to. And I think the ladies will really like the Vert.

HEY! THERE WE GO!!!

I want to see the women vote! That's my point! I'm hoping there are a hell of a lot more females interested in this 5th Gen than the 4th Gen. I sure hope there's something more about this one that sells more Camaros to females than before.

I was interested in the 4th Gen camaro but unfortunately it was out of the price range i was given. The high school i went to was in a small town near Dallas in the mid 90s. It was a small school as well, and the only 2 people in my school and also in my class driving camaros were girls. I was so jealous, I think thats when I really started appreciating cars, not to mention my best friend here in san antonio at the time, her boyfriend was building a 78 from the ground up. It was an amazing car. I've never been a mustang fan, but there are a few exceptions.

hey DJGreggie do like I do, tell them to shut their mouth or go get their cars or their boyfriends cars. And tell them to line the up in the 1/4 mile or shut up. See I like to race most boys run their mouth about your ride till it comes time to line them up then their not so big. And if I can't beat them with my
S-10 I go home and get my Camaro then I do beat them and win back my money I just lost plus a little extra. I like to race for money it is fun.

Since we now have 500+ members, I'd thought I would bump this thread up.

C'mon ladies, let's show our numbers - I know Luna and myself aren't the only ones!!

I believe that the new convertible will definately appeal to woman. It is sleek and sexy. It will not matter what engine they select, they will buy it. The overall dementions are close to the current Mustang, which the average woman would like. The Chrysler sebring was in this size range and was very popular with the ladies. You watch the ratio between coupe and convertible will be very close because in either form they're just great looking cars.
