I've tried searching for the torque specs for the LT2 intake, but can't find them on here. Anyone know what they should be? I'm getting my LT2 from rockauto tomorrow and shaving the underside and adding the port in the back hopefully this weekend. What is the consensus on keeping the foam padding under it?

Any other helpful advise for this mod?

Just installed my LT2 intake after the first one I received was cracked. Pretty basic install and I am beyond happy with the feel of the car afterwards. Pulls hard to 6500RPM and the shifts are awesome then it keeps pulling each gear. I didn't notice any loss of power anywhere and partial throttle response feels improved. I am using the stock throttle body still. Beyond happy with this mod!

Great video. I commented on it, but I guess I can ask here as well. What did you torque the intake bolts down to?

Roger that, thank you very much. Again, your video was quick, but informative. Thumbs up.

Thank you! I watched every single LT2 intake install video and a few were tough to watch, my goal was to get straight to the points. I have a different youtube channel with the 3.0 Diesels, I do the same there and it seems to be appreciated. Hopefully my video at least helps a few people out on pulling the trigger on this intake.

Watched your video. Are you still on the stock tune? If not did you make any tuning adjustments to your tune or did you only do the throttle and fuel trim re-learn?

That applies to a lot of car mod/install videos. Guys are more interested in getting likes, then helped other guys out. Just install the thing and stop giving me your opinion or thoughts on this or that. Do a separate video with all that.

Hey, what scanner is that you are using? Found it, nevermind.

stock tune, all I did was what was shown in the video. Been driving the car and still very happy with the results. There's so much negative on the intake and dyno runs, seat of the pants full throttle and light throttle regular driving has been enjoyable.

I added a link in the description this am.

Glad you found it, I like the tool.

That tool is 465-- I was looking at the 258 one. Dang, yours has crank relearn. Sheesh, you ARE the dealer shop. lol Since I do not have this tool and won't when I install my LT2. What can I do to relearn the TB and/or intake? I have Trifecta tunning and I will ask them to calibrate my E85 and the intake, but do they "teach" my car?

After working with this table I am thinking to only change to the values that advance the cam. I wanted to get to the track last night but was exhausted. It’s gonna rain today and tomorrow.

They might be retarding around peak torque to bleed cylinder pressure to get more timing in. If you’re running e85 you don’t want that, you want cylinder pressure and the timing.
If you’re not flex fuel, retarding the cam might work out for u

there is an idle procedure that you can do as well, just takes time. The tool is a shortcut, essentially, and not a requirement.
