I'd be more worried about the techs taking it for a joy ride (I mean, test drive) after the repairs.......

It is garaged and its a three mile drive so there should not be any problems with the drive...especially if you take it in late afternoon when the temps are the warmest.

...I would be concerned if your dealer leaves it outside for a few days. I know one ZL1 owner that took his in and the stock tires cracked because it was outside for a week in single digit temps...

Those temps don't look bad. Especially if you avoid Wednesday.

I will be driving it in the early AM before work. So I expect the lower area of the temp gap.

Read the safety bulletin on the tires. No driving below 40 and no storage below 20. There are threads here with pictures of people's tires cracked because of temperature!

I saw pictures, didn't just read. Just providing info, people will do what people will do.

I'm picking up my ZL1 on weds. Driving it home from PA to NY. Temps will be around 21 degrees. 154 mile trip. Im not worried the least bit about tires falling apart.

I appreciate the debate and the difference in viewpoints.

The likelihood of me wrapping the car around a tree is nonexistent considering I will be driving like my mom to the dealer.

I just wanted to see the potential or possibility of causing any damage to the tires.

If others have driven in freezing temps with their ZL1s and 1LEs, I don't see the issue of me doing the same.

Thank you all for your input.

That picture with the cracks looks photo shopped to me. It is easy to post random stuff on the internet. I would bet a paycheck that it didnt happen driving reasonable. If it did, it is more likely a manufactures defect. Where is the thermometer in the picture? You do not even know it is a winter picture.

Are you saying the picture of the tire is fake? Are you saying that Goodyear is lieing and none of these tires will crack when subjected to these cold temps, are you guaranteeing that to everyone who owns them? Are you guaranteeing that these tires are safe to take to the track after being subjected to those temps?

Not sure about the above pic but those look exactly like the cracks in the ZL1 tires I saw...

Still, I don't think the OP has to worry about anything from a five minute drive alone.
